As Omotayo Williams stated, there is no small governor, only a Governor who doesn’t understand his powers.
Today marks the continuation of the dismantling of Wike’s political career in Rivers State. After all the noise, all the Local Government chairmen appointed by Wike have disappeared from office, chased out by Rivers youths.
As a reminder:
Executive: All the disloyal commissioners and appointee’s have resigned and are now jobless. Fubara has appointed his people.
Legislature: All 25 House of Assembly members who decamped have become homeless politicians, begging the judiciary for a home.
Judiciary: Wike’s man was demoted, forcing his resignation, leading to Fubara appointing his man.
Fubara is fully in charge. Wike’s tears have just started.

Political power is unbelievably ephemeral. If Wike was able to silence Rotimi Amaechi, I don’t think he is a super human that can’t be silenced by another politician.His power & influence will be limited in 2027 except there’s fence mending between him & Fubara in the next election.
