Governor Alex Otti OFR has made significant strides in delivering on his campaign promises. He recently launched a One Billion Naira Interest-Free Revolving Loan aimed at empowering 10,000 nano and small-scale business owners across the 184 wards in the 17 local governments of Abia State. This initiative marks a significant step towards economic revitalization and support for local entrepreneurs.
Oluebube Chukwu praised Governor Otti’s commitment to economic development and the betterment of Abia State. “Governor Otti’s dedication to empowering small businesses and fostering a conducive environment for economic growth is commendable. This initiative will undoubtedly transform the lives of many entrepreneurs and contribute to the overall prosperity of our state,” Dr. Chukwu remarked.
In addition to this financial empowerment program, Governor Otti also handed over 15 units of 18-seater Innoson buses to the harmonized Central Taskforce. This move aims to rid Abia of touts, ensure a cleaner and safer environment, and facilitate ease of doing business within the state.
